Built inside a real independent shop

BayPilot. The operating system that runs your auto shop and makes it money.

One system for the shop floor and the money. Not a second subscription on top of what you already pay.

Still paying ~4% on cards?

With BayPilot your shop connects its own Stripe account for card payments and pays Stripe's standard rate of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. If you are still paying around 4% elsewhere, that gap on $50k of monthly card volume is roughly $500/mo back in your pocket.

Replaces your shop-management system, not your toolbox

BayPilot takes over what tools like Tekmetric or Shopmonkey do: tickets, inspections, payments, payroll, and reports. Repair-data libraries and OEM diagrams stay optional. Bring your own or skip them entirely. BayPilot's AI Research is diagnostic guidance, not certified OEM repair data or licensed diagrams.

The shop floor and the money, in one system

Customers & vehicles

Full customer and vehicle records with VIN decode, plate lookup, and service history on every car.

Work order → estimate → invoice

Draft to estimate to invoice in one flow, with canned jobs, job groups, and one-tap conversion.

Digital vehicle inspections

Photo inspections texted to the customer so approvals come back without phone tag.

Flat-rate labor

Billed vs. clocked hours, house times that learn from your own shop, and technician efficiency.

Parts margin protection

Cost-based markup, live parts pricing, and guardrails so nothing ever sells below cost.

Profit Queue

Every open job ranked by profit per bay-hour. Your team always knows which car to work first.

Payments

Card payments via Stripe at Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢. Partial balances, and tickets that auto-close at zero.

Payroll & reports

Commission from billed hours, pay plans, ARO, margin, and productivity reports built in.

AI diagnostic guidance

Vehicle-aware diagnostic direction and maintenance info right on the ticket. Guidance, not a data subscription.

Built inside a real independent shop

BayPilot wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built and runs daily inside an independent European repair shop. Every feature exists because a real service advisor or technician needed it at the counter or in the bay.

Common questions

Is BayPilot another bill on top of my repair-data subscription?
No. BayPilot replaces your shop-management system. The thing you write tickets, take payments, and run payroll in. It is not a second repair-data bill on top of what you already pay.
Do I need a repair-data library or OEM diagrams to use BayPilot?
No. Repair-data libraries and OEM diagrams are optional. Keep whatever you already use or use none at all. BayPilot runs your shop either way.
What exactly is the AI Research feature?
It gives vehicle-aware diagnostic guidance. Likely causes, test order, and maintenance info. It is diagnostic guidance, not certified OEM repair data and not licensed factory diagrams.
Who is BayPilot for?
Independent auto repair shops, from a one-bay operation to a busy multi-lift shop, including European and import specialists. If you live on hours sold and parts margin, it was built for you.
What does it cost to take cards?
Card payments run through your own Stripe account and you pay Stripe's standard rate of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. No per-ticket software fees on top. If you are still paying around 4% with another processor, moving to 2.9% + 30¢ on $50k of monthly card volume keeps roughly $500 a month in your pocket.
